Chef-Owner
Marshall Bishop brings his training at Le Cordon
Bleu Program of the California Culinary Academy
(San Francisco) to this up-and-coming valley
hot spot.
A
self-described “local boy living the American
Dream,” Marshall’s culinary mission
has carried him through some of San Francisco’s
finest establishments, notably Restaurant Gary
Danko (“Best Restaurant in America”
– Zagat Survey).
Along with his vast experience, Marshall brings
the “American Tapas” (small plates)
tasting menu that has become the trend at top
restaurants around the world. The tasting menu
allows guests to sample many different items
in small portions; served as courses, these
varied selections allow for a leisurely meal
with intervals to enjoy libations and conservation
– a pleasant and interesting way to dine!
Bishop's offers a daily-changing menu using
innovative cooking techniques and many ingredients
from producers within 100 miles: natural range-fed
poultry, lamb and beef, organic produce, baked
goods and coffee, and Caffee Classico’s
Gelato and Sorbetto. The wine selection is unmatched
in the area, featuring local and California
regional wines – at least twenty-five
by the glass. Monthly wine dinners each feature
a different vineyard. Reservations are required
for wine dinners, and are always strongly recommended. |
